WYNCOTE, PA, – Joyce Leslie, Payless ShoeSource and Sprint Stores have opened retail locations in the new East Cedarbrook Plaza shopping center. These are the first stores to open in the out lot expansion of Cedarbrook Plaza where construction began late last year. East Cedarbrook is located just to the east of the 600,000 square foot Cedarbrook Plaza which is anchored by Wal-mart, Pathmark and Toys ‘R Us, and includes Modell’s Sporting Goods, A. J. Wright, Hollywood Video, Dots and Bally’s Total Fitness.

Phase I of the East Cedarbrook expansion consists of 3.5 acres and includes two large pad sites totaling 18,000 square feet of retail space, approximately 350 feet of additional frontage along Cheltenham Avenue, and a new curb cut with a traffic light at Cheltenham Ave. and Mt Pleasant Ave. Phase II and III of the expansion will add an additional 40-50,000 square feet.

Joyce Leslie junior women’s apparel store specializes in the latest fashions for both teens and their budget-conscious parents. Headquartered in Moonachie, New Jersey, Joyce Leslie operates 46 stores in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Their 9,000 square foot East Cedarbrook store is their sixth store in the Philadelphia market.

The 2,729 square foot East Cedarbrook Payless features fashionable, quality footwear and accessories for women, men and children at affordable prices.

The 2,009 square foot Sprint Store at East Cedarbrook Plaza offers a complete line of wireless and landline equipment and service plans for individuals, families and business. A publicly traded company, Sprint operates over 700 Sprint Stores nationwide.
