WYNCOTE, PA, February 12, 2001 - "Contemporary Child Care & Learning Center," a new child care center geared to the needs of parents with non-traditional working hours has opened at the Cedarbrook Plaza shopping center. The center is open seven days a week from 6 AM to 10 PM and offers special drop off hours between 5 PM and 10 PM for parents looking for short term child care to go shopping, run errands or if they just need a couple of hours of relaxation.

The new child care center is located in the Pathmark Court area of the shopping center adjacent to the Bare Feet Shoe store. The 2,733 square foot center is equipped with the latest educational equipment including computers and special toys for learning.

The Child Care Center’s owner Colette C. Harley says the center provides a variety of activities that enable children to develop socially, emotionally and physically. The center cares for children from ages 6 weeks through five years of age. Harley says that a special open house and tour of the center is planned for Saturday February 24, Wednesday February 28 and Saturday March 3.

Commenting on the new learning center, Cedarbrook Plaza Property Manager, Lori Ann Stopyra said "This is an innovative concept that should be a great asset for parents in the Wyncote and Cheltenham neighborhoods as well as the Mt. Airy and Germantown sections of Philadelphia."
